Frequently asked questions
How big a business do you work with?
Typically 5 to 25 people with an office or store, up to a handful of servers and a firewall. If you are larger or smaller, ask.
Do you replace our current IT person or company?
Only if you want us to. If you already have someone, we can work alongside them for security, projects or backup coverage.
What does the free network audit involve?
We look at your firewall, Wi-Fi, computers, servers, backups and Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace accounts. Then we walk you through a plain-English report of what is exposed, what is fine and what to fix first, with costs. If you already pay for IT services, we also show you where you may be overpaying.
Why is the audit free?
Because it is the best way to show you how we work. Most owners learn something important about how vulnerable their business is. You keep the report and decide what, if anything, to do next. There is no obligation.
How much does it cost?
We work on monthly retainers: 10 hours for $800 ($80/hr), 20 hours for $1,500 ($75/hr), 30 hours for $2,100 ($70/hr). You can also pay as you go at $90/hr. Larger projects are quoted individually. After your free network audit you get a written proposal.
What if something breaks after hours?
Regular support is Monday to Friday, business hours. Emergencies, nights and weekends are billed at $125/hr for every client, and do not use retainer hours.
Is there a contract?
No long-term contract. Retainers are month to month, so you can use as little or as much as your business needs and change your hours up or down from one month to the next. Custom projects are agreed in writing before we start.
Do you help with websites, AI and software too?
Yes. Alongside IT and networking we design and build websites, set up AI automations and assistants, and build custom apps such as POS, inventory and CRM systems. Those are custom projects, quoted individually.
Which areas do you cover?
Orem, Provo, Lehi, American Fork, Pleasant Grove, Lindon, Highland, Alpine, Cedar Hills, Saratoga Springs, Eagle Mountain, Vineyard, Springville, Spanish Fork, Salem, Payson, Santaquin, Mapleton and the rest of Utah County, Utah.
